Madhya Pradesh: 48 Cops Including Six Sub Inspectors Attached To Police Lines

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Forty eight cops were attached to police lines on the instructions of the police commissioner Harinarayanachari Mishra. The list issued on Sunday included six sub inspectors (SI) and three assistant sub inspectors (ASI).

The line attached cops were found negligent in their duties and several complaints were received against them by senior police officials.

The cops were identified and their list was prepared, police official said. The sub inspectors who have been line attached include Namita Sahu of Woman Police Station, Matadeen Ahirwar of Nishatpura, Mukesh Sthapak of MP Nagar, Moolchandra Meena of Ratibad, Jitendra Bahadur Singh of traffic police and Ramashray Yadav of Zone-4 police office.

The assistant sub inspectors attached to police lines were Brajendra Singh of Misrod, Subhash Tyagi of Bag Sewania and Ramawtar of Bairagarh police station.

The list also included names of 12 head constables while 27 constables who have been line attached. At-least five cops attached to police lines are from traffic police while one cop was posted in crime branch.
