Kavita Kaushik SLAMMED For Sharing Video Of Rescuing Her Pet Dog While Ignoring Another Stray Getting Swept Away In Waterfall
Actress Kavita Kaushik found herself at the receiving end of severe backlash after she shared a video on her social media in which she can be seen saving her pet dog from drowning in a waterfall. Netizens pointed out that while she rescued her pet and made a video out of it, the other stray dog was seen getting swept away in the strong currents.
On Sunday, Kavita took to her Instagram to share a video of their "adventure" while wishing her husband on his birthday. The video began with the actress enjoying near a waterfall, but soon after, she showed how her pet dog, Raka, spotted his "arch-rival", a stray dog, and chased it into the stream. But things got serious when the water level suddenly rose and both the dogs were seen on the verge of drowning.
Kavita handed over the camera to her husband and asked him to record a video while she went downhill and rescued her dog, Raka. However, the stray dog, which was seen getting swept away by the strong currents, was nowhere to be found. "Thank you for saving us Mahadev, we couldn't find the other dog," she wrote along with a picture of herself posing in the water.
Netizens were horrified as the actress shared the video and they flooded the comments section asking the whereabouts of the stray dog. "Not at all good madam...You saved your Raka but what about the other one (sic)," a user asked, while another commented, "You guys called yourself dog lover!!!? One died and you guys put up the video with music and cheering....These days people are so emotionless and self-centred (sic)."
As netizens kept questioning about the second dog, Kavita restricted her comments section, and did not respond to the queries.
