A video of a robotic mechanism that is parking vehicles on its own is gaining widespread attention on social media. As in the video, A parking valet robot is smoothly and effortlessly parking a car at designated place. The robot first goes below the car, sets itself, lifts the car and parks it accurately.

The video is going viral on the Internet and netizens are going frenzy over the automated technology. The video was posted on X formerly known as Twitter by @_fluxfeeds and reshared by @Rainmaker1973. It has already received more than 915.8k views and several reactions.

The robot shown in the video is none other than Parkie, developed by South Korean company HL Mando. Its an advanced autonomous valet robot. It is made essentially to enhance the parking in high-density urban environments.

Parkie is the world’s first Level‑4 autonomous indoor parking robot (AMR) that can self-navigate, lift, and park vehicles including sports cars and SUVs. Parkie does not require any added infrastructure to park the vehicles.

Parkie slides underneath vehicles, detects wheel position, vehicle mass center, license plates, and obstacles, then lifts and maneuvers them into tight spaces, rightly as shown in the video above. It was developed over four years ago and is already in pilot operation in office buildings in countries like China and parts of Europe since 2024. It is soon to be launched in larger venues like airports.
