'Stuffed In Duppatta, Sarees & Pockets': Videos Of Mango Loot At 'Aam Mahotsav' In Lucknow Goes Viral

Lucknow: People rushed to grab as much mangoes as they can in Lucknow's mango festival which was graced by several officials of the state. The mango festival was organised in the capital of UP, Lucknow from July 4 to 6. Several dignitaries like CM Yogi Adityanath, poet Kumar Singh and Bhojpuri actor-singer Pawan singh attended the festival. As soon as the festival ended on July 6, visitors rushed to stormed to nab the mangoes. Many stuffed mangoes in their duppattas, sarees and pockets.

Various visuals are surfacing on the Internet of this lunatic adventure sparking debate among netizens. One of the visual posted on X, crowd seen erupted on the mango stalls, with bags in their hands. Some people can be seen holding pile of mangoes in their hands.

The insane behaiviour by visitors present at the mango festival is being criticised by netizens. Most of them are not pleased with these acts and have given harsh comments. One user wrote, "Kya karenge aise karke aam khakar? Kaunsa jag jeet lenge? Aise soch wale humesha bhikhmange hi reh jayenge, sochiye 100rs main 4,5 kg tak thele thele par aam chilla chilla ke bech rahe hain koi puchne wala nahi hain unko. Inki mansikata ki vajah se desh pradesh piche reh gaya hain. Free ka kuch bhi mile bas loot lo."
