SBI hands over Rs 1.10 cr DSP PAI claim to family of martyr Sunil Kumar

JAMMU, July 7: State Bank of India (SBI) today handed over a cheque of Rs 1.10 crore as part of the Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) claim under the Defence Salary Package (DSP) to the family of martyr rifleman Sunil Kumar, who laid down his life during Operation Sindoor.
The cheque was formally presented by Ajay Singh Kamdi, Regional Manager, RBO-2, State Bank of India.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamdi said, “SBI stands shoulder to shoulder with the Indian Army and the families of our brave soldiers. The Defence Salary Package is not just a banking product, it is a pledge of care and security for those who protect our nation.”
