Video: Pet Dog Dies Of Suffocation After Family Locks It Inside Car To Perform Puja In Vrindavan Temple
A heart-wrenching scene unfolded at a parking lot near Shriyad Hospital in Vrindavan when a family left their dog locked inside a car while they went to perform prayers. Trapped under the scorching sun in the sweltering heat of the closed vehicle, the poor animal suffered terribly.
When nearby people heard the dog’s distressed whimpers from inside the car, they immediately tried to open the door, but it remained locked. Some suggested breaking the window to rescue the struggling animal, but instead, they called for a mechanic. By the time the door was finally opened, the dog was already half-dead.
Locals mentioned that they had earlier urged the car owner to tie the dog outside, but their requests were ignored. A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media. The sight of the helpless creature fighting for breath inside the suffocating car left onlookers in tears. Shortly after being freed, the dog succumbed to its ordeal.
According to doctors’ reports, the cause of death was suffocation. Following the incident, public outrage has been directed at the family responsible. Police are currently investigating the matter.
In a similar incident reported earlier this month in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, a dog died after being locked inside a car for hours by its owner, a visitor from Haryana, during a trip to the iconic Taj Mahal. The animal could not survive the scorching heat, complete lack of ventilation, and absence of water.
