Congress pays tribute to ex-CM Virbhadra on his 4th death anniv

On the fourth death anniversary of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, senior Congress leaders and party workers gathered at the Himachal Pradesh Congress headquarters to pay heartfelt tributes to the iconic leader.

State Congress president Pratibha Singh led the tribute, recalling Virbhadra Singh’s monumental contributions to the development of Himachal Pradesh. She described him as the architect of modern Himachal, underlining his tireless efforts in expanding road connectivity, strengthening health services and ensuring the provision of basic facilities in the state’s rural and remote areas.

Pratibha Singh said that Virbhadra Singh was not only a visionary statesman but also a leader deeply connected to the people and culture of Himachal Pradesh. “He loved this land and its people with all his heart and worked throughout his life to alleviate their problems,” she said.

She urged party workers to walk the path shown by the former Chief Minister by working for the state’s continued development and promoting unity and brotherhood among its people.

Pratibha Singh said the unveiling of Virbhadra Singh’s statue, which was scheduled around this time, might be postponed due to severe weather conditions prevailing in various parts of the state.
