Focus on research quality: VC to researchers

Sonepat: New researchers were overwhelmed after meeting Prof Shri Prakash Singh, Vice-Chancellor (VC), Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Murthal. Prof Singh assured researchers that if they faced any kind of problem during their research, they could directly meet him and their issues would be resolved on priority. The VC encouraged new researchers to focus on the quality of research. He encouraged them to publish their research papers in SCI Journal. Prof Singh said the youth would play an important role in making India a developed nation by 2047. The National Education Policy (NEP) would play an important role in development of the country, he said. Researchers assured Prof Singh that they would make good use of the library and laboratories available in the university.
Dyal Singh College unveils first journal volume

Karnal: Dyal Singh College unveiled its first journal volume, published in collaboration with Journal Global Values — a peer-reviewed and refereed international journal. Vice Admiral (retd) Satish Soni, Honorary Secretary, Dyal Singh College Trust Society, formally launched the special issue in the presence of Principal Dr Ashima Gakhar; Dr Mukta Jain, senior faculty and head, Department of Commerce; and guest editors — Dr Anita Agarwal, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science, Dr Pooja Malhotra, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, and Dr Shweta Yadav, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Zoology. This publication delves into the intersections of gendered entrepreneurship and environmental consciousness, aiming to foster scholarly dialogue around inclusive and sustainable development. Following a meticulous review by the peer review committee, a total of 28 papers were selected for publication, encompassing a wide range of themes that reflect the core objectives and interdisciplinary focus of the conference. Notably, 12 papers in this special issue have been contributed by the faculty of Dyal Singh College itself, showcasing the institution’s strong commitment to research excellence. Dr Ashima Gakhar and Vice Admiral (Retd) Satish Soni congratulated editors for their dedicated efforts toward environmental sustainability, women entrepreneurship, and their unwavering commitment to advancing meaningful research.
