Heavy school bags for children

THE weight of the school bags of children studying in private schools is increasing day by day. It is no longer easy for them to carry their school bags on their shoulders. Children are the future of our country. All private schools should reduce the weight of children’s school bags and focus on their physical, mental and intellectual development. The education of children should be such that it builds their character, gives them mental peace, develops intelligence and makes them self-reliant so that they can easily support themselves and their families in future.

Rohtak turns into garbage dumping ground

Government tenders for garbage lifting from residential areas and markets have ended, and unfortunately, no official has taken any concrete steps to address the situation. It has been almost a week, and the inaction has led to a serious crisis. Helpless and frustrated, residents have begun dumping garbage on roads, which are now overflowing with waste. The problem is further aggravated by the ongoing rainy season, resulting in unbearable foul smell. This has also become a breeding ground for infections and diseases. This is not just a matter of inconvenience-it has become a major health hazard and a disruption to daily life. The Municipal Corporation, local MLA, and administration must urgently intervene and resolve the issue on priority. Public health and sanitation cannot be neglected in such a manner.
