Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Sets New Benchmark for Foldable Smartphones
Introducing the most premium folder yet, Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold7, which with precision engineering coupled with Galaxy AI and flagship performance is the thinnest and lightest Galaxy Z Fold the company has produced. Lightweight but compact at only 215 grams and only 8.9 mm when folded, it remains easily portable, as its main display is a large 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X (11 percent larger than before), suitable to move between video conferencing and web browsing.
It runs on a new processor known as Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy under its hood, which is up to 41 percent faster in its NPU performance, enabling smooth real-time on-device tasks such as language translation and photo editing. The camera system is also top-of-the-line, with a 200MP wide angle camera, AI evolved Night Video, and the sophisticated editing tools, including Generative Edit and Suggest Erases, to give you studio-level results using only your phone. Using AI on the Galaxy with One UI 8 on Android 16, the Z Fold7 uses Galaxy AI, with multimodal support, including both Circle to Search and Gemini Live, featuring screen or camera sharing, as well as split views of AI-generated results. Samsung Knox takes care of securing such AI experiences, allowing innovations such as an encrypted app-specific storage. Quality has not been lost as well.
The Reinforced Z Fold7 has Armor FlexHinge, Armor Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, and a display sightly stronger to stand against shocks by reinforcing it with a titanium plate, making it at least 50 percent stouter. With IP48 liquid resistance, rapid wired and wireless charging, and loaded to the gills with future-proof connectivity, such as Wi-Fi 7, this flip phone raises the bar. Coming July 25 in Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, Jet-black, and as an exclusively online color Mint, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is the phone of another caliber.
