Director Suneel Darshan reveals SHOCKING truth about Priyanka Chopra’s parents, says they ‘repaired’ her nose, she was not..

In the glitzy and glamorous world of Bollywood, looking good and maintaining oneself is not a choice; it’s a need. Besides how an actor delivers their performance on screen, how glamorous and beautiful they appear also holds utmost importance. Many actresses have undergone beauty procedures and quick fixes to look more alluring on screen. One such example of this is Priyanka Chopra, who, before becoming a global icon, got a suggestion from a Film producer who saw potential in her but also thought something was holding her back.

Priyanka Chopra’s Nose Surgery

In a recent conversation, film producer Suneel Darshan revealed that before casting Priyanka Chopra in Andaaz (2003), he suggested Priyanka to “fix” her nose. Although Suneel had full conviction in her acting, he wasn’t really impressed by her looks. “Before I did Andaaz, I did tell her that she should do something about the bridge of her nose,” he said. “She knew that that was due, and her father and her mother were such good doctors. It wasn’t an issue; they got it repaired immediately,” he added.

What Led Her To Change Her Looks?

However, Priyanka, in her interview later, said that she underwent the surgery because of a Sinus. But the operation was botched, and it not only changed her appearance and almost jeopardized her career but also invited cruel nicknames like “Plastic Chopra” during the early days of her career. She said that the incident was “horrifying” and came with a lot of challenges. After the surgery, she found it difficult to even breathe properly.

Andaaz – A Blockbuster

Despite this, Suneel was happy that Priyanka took her advice. He said, “She wasn’t conventionally good-looking, but she had a powerful presence and an alluring voice.”

Andaaz, featuring Lara Dutta, Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Dheer, Johny Lever, and Maya Alagh, was a superhit. It’s a romantic triangle, and music still strikes a chord with the audience.
