Telangana cabinet nod for 42% BC quota in local bodies, ordinance soon

The Telangana cabinet, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has approved 42% reservation for Backward Classes in local bodies, enforced via ordinance. This decision follows a caste survey and BC commission report, aligning with Supreme Court directives. The government will also notify 17,084 additional jobs.
