CBI And Mumbai Police Bring Back Kubbawala Mustafa From UAE Via INTERPOL In Major Drug Case Bust

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has successfully facilitated the extradition of Kubbawala Mustafa from the UAE through INTERPOL channels. Mustafa was a wanted individual by the Mumbai Police.The CBI’s International Police Cooperation Unit (IPCU), in coordination with the National Central Bureau (NCB) in Abu Dhabi, played a key role in securing the return of the Red Notice subject. A four-member team from the Mumbai Police traveled to Dubai on July 7, 2025, and brought Mustafa back to India on July 11, 2025. He was geo-located in the UAE following persistent efforts by the CBI and cooperation with INTERPOL and NCB-Abu Dhabi.
