Police install 8 solar-powered CCTV cameras at Radaur

The Radaur police of Yamunanagar district have become hi-tech. They have installed solar-powered CCTV cameras at eight entry-exit points in Radaur town to enhance security.

With the installation of CCTV cameras, every person entering the town will now be on police radar.

Narender Rana, SHO, Radaur police station, said that the police would be able to keep an eye on people from the control room set up in the police station. He said that the CCTV cameras were made operational on Thursday.

“The CCTV cameras installed are being operated from Radaur police station. With the help of these cameras, we will be able to keep an eye on suspicious people,” said Rana. He said that the police had installed cameras at Bubka chowk, JMIT chowk, Triveni chowk, near Canal bridge, Mandi chowk, Ghespur Chungi chowk, Bus Stand chowk and near Alipura police check post.

“The police will soon install CCTV cameras inside the town as well,” he said.

He appealed to the residents to help the police in controlling crime by informing them about anti-social elements.
