Meet man, IIT alumni, left Rs 10000000 salary job and became teacher in Faridabad due to…, this story will shock you

Sometimes, even after achieving everything you may feel something is missing. Peace of mind becomes more important than money for many people. Rohan Mittal from Faridabad also started getting similar feelings.

He is from Sector 16 in Faridabad and an IIT Roorkee graduate. He was earning a crore-rupee annual salary but not getting satisfaction from his job..

Rohan Left Rs 1 Crore Package

Speaking to Local 18, Rohan Mittal revealed that he took admission in IIT Roorkee in 2012 and graduated in 2016. After that, he entered the corporate world and worked for nine years in top consulting firms in Noida and Gurugram. Over the years, he was promoted multiple times and switched companies as well. His last job offered him a package of Rs 1 crore per year.

Despite all of this he wanted to try something different. He always had a desire to stay connected to education. Every year, a few students used to approach him for guidance and some seeking advice after their Class 10 results, others with career-related doubts. He enjoyed mentoring them, and that’s when the idea of taking up teaching full-time came in his mind. He saw it as a career where he could truly give back to society.

Founding ‘Well Done Classes’

In August 2024, Rohan launched Well Done Classes. Today, around 40 students are enrolled at his centre. All classrooms are equipped with smart technology. There’s even a mobile app, allowing students to revisit recorded lectures up to two months later. The centre also has a library to give students a place to study.
Before launching the coaching institute, Rohan conducted extensive research to ensure everything was designed with the students’ needs in mind.

Today, he teaches school students in his hometown. Rohan has started a coaching centre called “Well Done Classes” in Sector 16, where he teaches students from Classes 9 to 12 and provides them with all essential facilities.

Rohan’s Personal Life

Rohan comes from a business family. His family includes his mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, and younger brother Sagar Mittal, who is also an IIT Delhi graduate. His wife is a postgraduate from Jamia Millia Islamia. Rohan says his family fully supported his decision to leave behind the crore-rupee job. “Do what your heart says,” they told him.
