Indus Battle Royale Update: Pune-based game developer SuperGaming has unveiled a major gameplay update to Indus Battle Royale, adding a powerful new feature called “Abilities” that gives players the freedom to shape their ideal Mythwalker. This addition deepens the strategic play of the Indo-futuristic shooter, offering much more than the usual race for weapons and loot.

Abilities Bring a New Tactical Dimension

In this latest update, each player entering the battleground of Virlok now comes armed not just with gear, but with unique powers that suit their preferred combat style. The new Abilities system introduces active skills tied to four archetypes — Intel, Support, Mobility, and Assault — allowing a mix of versatility and ease of use.

These Abilities are activated with simple one-tap controls, keeping the experience smooth and intuitive, especially for mobile gamers. Despite the simplicity, the system opens up deeper tactical possibilities, staying true to the game’s fast-paced yet strategic core.

Four Unique Powers at Launch

The game now offers four powerful Abilities at launch:

  • Hunter’s Instinct (Intel): Gives players infrared vision for 20 seconds across a 150-meter radius, helping track enemy movement. Cooldown: 80 seconds.
  • Shield Dome (Support): Deploys a bullet-blocking energy barrier with 400 HP that allows outgoing fire. Useful for revives and tight combat zones. Cooldown: 75 seconds.
  • Super Speed (Mobility): A high-impact dash that damages enemies while helping players reposition or escape danger. Cooldown: 85 seconds.
  • Deadeye (Assault): Equips players with a high-powered sidearm for 25 seconds, delivering 360 headshot and 180 body damage. Each headshot refunds bullets, encouraging precision. Cooldown: 80 seconds.

Anti-Gravity Spires & Custom Rooms Expand Gameplay

Adding to the thrill, Indus now features Anti-Gravity Spires, floating stone structures scattered across the map.

When activated, these spires launch players into the air for a controlled redeployment dive, offering a quick escape, map repositioning, or a better zone push. Their placement is visible on the map, allowing players to weave them into their tactics.

Another highlight is the long-awaited Custom Rooms feature. Responding to community demand, SuperGaming now allows players to set up personalised matches and tournaments.

From choosing game modes like Battle Royale or TDM, setting squad sizes (Solo, Duo, or Squad), to toggling aim-assist or auto-fire options, this tool empowers players to create their own scrims, private lobbies, or even invite spectators.
