'World Will Remember Deepak Yadav As A Loser': Richa Chadha SLAMS Radhika Yadav's Father & Those 'Justifying' Her Murder

Bollywood actress Richa Chadha slammed those who have been justifying the murder of former junior tennis player Radhika Yadav. Radhika was shot dead by her father Deepak Yadav on Thursday (July 10) at their Gurugram residence.

Deepak, 49, has reportedly confessed to the crime and told police he was taunted for living off Radhika's income from a tennis academy.

Taking to her official X (formerly known as Twitter) account on July 13, Richa called Deepak a 'coward' and lashed out at those who have been defending him.

Richa Chadha's reacts to Radhika's murder

Richa reacted to a video posted by Radhika's friend Himanshikha Singh Rajput, in which stated that Deepak 'controlled' Radhika and people 'shamed' her for wearing shorts, talking to boys and for living life on her own terms.

The actress wrote, "There is no honour in killing your own child. If a few wagging tongues said stuff to him earlier, now the whole world will remember Deepak Yadav as a loser, forever. Deepak Yadav, you have cemented your place as a LOSER and a COWARD in the annals of history."

An X user commented under Richa's post, "The most pathetic thing is men justifying it. I mean wtf is even happening here?" To this, Richa replied, "Losers too."

For those unversed, a section of social media users also called Deepak a 'hero' after reports of Radhika dating a Muslim boy surfaced on the internet.

Radhika Yadav shot dead

According to media reports, the 25-year-old received four bullets, three in the back and one in the shoulder. After postmortem, her body was handed over to the family and taken for last rites to their village in Wazirabad on July 11.

Deepak has confessed to fatally shooting his daughter, citing constant humiliation over being financially dependent on her, police sources revealed. According to an official statement, the tennis academy managed by Radhika had become a major point of conflict between the father and daughter.

Investigators are also looking into other possible triggers. In 2024, Radhika had featured in a romantic music video alongside independent artist Inam-ul-Haq - a move that, reports say, may have strained the dynamics at home. However, he told ANI that he had no connection to her murder and had not been in touch with her after the video shoot.
