Voter ID card is an essential document for every citizen, which is not only a proof of identity but also gives the right to participate in the democratic system. Citizens above 18 years of age can also get their voter ID made through online medium.

For this, first go to the official website of the Voter Service Portal. Click on the option to fill Form 6 there or download it and take a printout.

Choose Form 6A for online application and register yourself by clicking on the sign-up button and entering mobile number, email ID and other required details.

If already registered, log in through OTP by entering the registered mobile number or EPIC number and password. After this, fill the eligibility details and upload the required documents. After filling the form completely, click on submit.

After submitting, a link will be sent to your email so that you can track the status of your application. Usually voter ID is received within a month.
