Inner Wheel Club elects its office-bearers

A district-level meeting of the Inner Wheel Club, Tarn Taran, elected its office-bearers here on Monday. The club, in a press release issued here today, informed that Dr Sukhbir Kaur has been elected the new president and Dr Raman Dua the secretary. Dr Gurjinder Kaur and Dr Harsimran Kaur are the editor and treasurer, respectively. Rupinder Kaur, cake artist, is the new International Service Organiser.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sukhbir Kaur expressed gratitude for the task she had been entrusted with and envisaged working together for a better world with focus on community outreach programmes.

The outgoing president Dr Monica Gupta gave friendship mementos to members who pledged to continue their social welfare tasks. Dr Baljit Kaur, Anita Sood, Dr Navdeep Kaur, Dr Harsimran Kaur, Ishwar Kaur, Pushpinder, DK Mahia, Sandhya Sood, Narinder Kaur, Mamta Bajaj, Harjit Chawla, Pushpinder Lehri, Gurmit Kaur, Dr Manav, Mandeep Kaur and Jaspal Kaur Sidhu were among those present on the occasion.
