Nimisha Priya’s execution postponed

Execution of Nimisha Priya, an Indian nurse on death row in Yemen, has been postponed by Yemeni authorities, reports PTI.

Nimisha Priya would not be executed on July 16, her counsel said.

However, the fresh date for her execution was not immediately known. Indian officials have also been in regular touch with the local jail authorities and the prosecutor’s office.
