The special features available in the basic account include editing posts, writing long content, playing videos in the background and downloading media. However, these accounts do not have a premium verification checkmark. In contrast, the premium tier offers extra benefits such as this verification along with other exclusive features.
The Premium Plus account is designed to provide several exclusive benefits that are not available to basic and regular premium users. These include an ad-free experience, the ability to publish full-length articles and access to X’s advanced AI tool Grok 4.

By offering a more affordable option, X potentially wants to grow its userbase and maintain a presence in the social media space. These price cuts are expected to benefit Indian users greatly, with many now being able to experience all the exclusive features available on X.
