Now, avail of revenue, transport dept services at Mohali sewa kendras

The Punjab government has now made five services of the Revenue Department and 30 services of the Transport Department related to driving license and RC available at the service centres.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Komal Mittal said now making deed registration, preparation of draft deed, submission of deed for pre-examination, payment of stamp duty, request for mutation (on the basis of inheritance or registered deed), request for entry of returns (on the basis of court orders, bank loan mortgage or bank loans/mortgage waiver related), request for fard badr (correction of record), request for digitally signed fard and 16 services related to driving license and 14 services related to RC will now be available from the service centre.

Citizens who cannot come to the service centres can avail these services from home through doorstep delivery by dialing the phone number 1076.

Driving license-related services include services related to learner licenses, such as new application, change of address, change of name, duplicate learner license, in addition to driving license related services such as duplicate license, renewal, replacement, change of address, change of name, correction of date of birth, driving license extract pre-registration international driving permit among others.

Similarly, RC-related services include duplicate RC, change of ownership of non-commercial vehicle, continuation of hire purchase (in case of change of ownership or change of name), endorsement of hire purchase agreement, fitness certificate of commercial vehicles, payment of additional life time tax, viewing of RC details, NOC, change of address in RC among others.
