Kullu Rotary Club unveils new leadership for 2025-26

The Rotary Club of Kullu ushered in its 2025-26 leadership with a heartfelt and purposeful installation ceremony held on Saturday evening. Rtn Pooja Malik formally assumed office as club president, in the presence of Rotarians, civic leaders and community members. Rotary District governor Rtn Rohit Oberoi administered the oath of office, commending the club’s legacy of service and its vital role in Kullu’s civic life.

As she stepped into her new role, Rtn Pooja Malik introduced a dynamic executive team committed to driving forward the club’s mission. Rajeev Singh was appointed general secretary, bringing strong organisational experience, while Indiver Mehta took charge as chairman, prepared to lead upcoming service projects. Malik also unveiled a diverse slate of office bearers tasked with advancing key focus areas — membership growth, community outreach, youth engagement and fundraising — signalling an energetic roadmap for the year ahead.

District governor Oberoi praised the club’s longstanding contributions and placed them within Rotary International’s broader vision. “Rotary is more than a service organisation — it is a way of life rooted in compassion, leadership and integrity,” he said. He emphasised that every local effort feeds into a global movement committed to uplifting lives across communities and borders.

Outgoing president Anshul Prashar delivered a comprehensive summary of the club’s accomplishments during his two-term tenure.
