Kotkapura: While heavy rain has left much of Kotkapura submerged, it has triggered a political blame game rather than coordinated relief efforts. Instead of addressing the recurring crisis of waterlogging, local politicians have chosen to trade accusations, with AAP councillors on Monday locking the gates of the municipal council office in protest. Led by MC’s Senior Vice-President Swatantra Joshi, several AAP-affiliated councillors accused Congress-backed council president Bhupinder Singh Saggu of deliberately stalling civic works.
