Punjab: Man Rams Car On His Brother And Family Out Of Rage Over Land Dispute, Shocking Video Goes Viral

Punjab: In Punjab's Dharamkot town of Moga district, property dispute turned brothers into enemies. The younger brother ran his car over the entire family of his elder brother out of rage over property dispute. This entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in Gatti Jatta village, after which the villagers are terrified. Villagers have condemn the act by younger brother. The family members and villagers have demanded strict action from the police. At present, the three injured are undergoing treatment and their condition is said to be stable. The accused brother is absconding, and the police is searching for him.

Property Dispute Between Family

Surjit Singh, a resident of Gatti Jatta village, has three sons who live separately. Surjit Singh and his wife earlier used to live with their younger son Dilbagh Singh. But a month ago, due to property dispute, Dilbagh threw his parents out of the house. After which, the elderly couple started living with their elder son Balwinder Singh.

Dilbagh Singh had a grudge against his elder brother for sheltering their parents. On July 14, when Balwinder Singh was standing at the gate of the house with his family, Dilbagh Singh was passing by in a car with his wife. Seeing the family together, he first got his wife out of the car and then turned the car at high speed and drove it straight over Balwinder, his wife and daughter.

Admitted To Nearby Hospital

Balwinder Singh and his family members were seriously injured in this attack. Nearby people heard the chaos and rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to a private hospital in Moga.

Injured Balvinder Singh said, 'Dilbagh had threatened us many times before. My wife and daughter were badly stuck under the car. If there were no people around, perhaps we three would not have survived.'

Legal Action By Police

Balwinder's father Surjit Singh said, 'The son whom we raised threw us out of the house and now he is bent on taking the life of our other son. We want justice.'

DSP Ramandeep Singh said, 'On the basis of the statement of Balwinder Singh, a case has been registered against the accused Dilbag Singh and his wife. The police is investigating the matter thoroughly and CCTV footage has also been seized. The accused will be arrested soon.
