Meta rolls out ‘Imagine Me’ on Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp

Meta has started launching a new AI feature called Imagine Me across Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp. This tool lets people create custom images of themselves right within their chats. By sending a message like “imagine me as a 90s rockstar” or “imagine me as a comic book hero” to Meta AI, users can get AI-generated images based on their appearance and their chosen prompt.

To try Imagine Me, users can open a chat with @Meta AI in their Instagram DMs, Messenger, or WhatsApp conversations—whether in a personal or group chat. They just need to send a prompt starting with “Imagine me as...” First-time users will be asked to upload a few photos to help Meta AI understand what they look like.

Once the setup photos are provided, tapping Generate will create a customized AI image using the user’s facial features and their chosen idea. People can get creative with scenarios like “on the moon,” “in a Renaissance painting,” or “wearing futuristic fashion.” Users can update or delete their photos anytime through Meta AI’s settings and can adjust their preferences, retake images, or turn the feature off whenever they want.
