Chhattisgarh: 17-Year-Old Scooty Rider Dies In Order To Save Stray Dog (VIDEO)
Chhattisgarh: A 17-year-old boy died in a tragic road accident on Monday night in the Supela area of Bhilai. The accident took place when he was out on a scooter with his friend and a stray dog appeared in front of him suddenly, while trying to save him, the scooter slipped out of control and both the riders fell into the drain on the side of the road. In the accident, one of them died on the spot, while the other was injured. The whole incident was captured by the CCTV camera and is now going viral on the Internet.
The deceased was identified as Raunak Dwivedi. According to the information received, Raunak was going towards Shriram Chowk with one of his friends. In this tragic accident, Raunak suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot. Raunak's friend who was sitting behind jumped out and fell near the drain and suffered minor injuries.

Youth Died On The Spot
With the help of local people, both of them were admitted to the hospital. Doctors declared Raunak dead in the hospital and his partner is undergoing treatment.
What Police Said?
Supela police has registered a case in this matter. ASP and Durg police spokesperson Padma Shri Tawar while giving information in this matter said that according to the CCTV footage, it is clear that due to the high speed of Raunak Dwivedi's scooter, it went out of control after the collision and fell into the drain.
