IMD Rainfall Alert: There will be heavy rains in UP for the next 7 days, know the latest situation of other states too

IMD Rain Alert 16 July: There will be heavy rain in UP for the next seven days. The Meteorological Department has said that there will be heavy rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh during 16-22 July, Punjab, Haryana on 16, 17, 21 and 22 July.

IMD Rainfall Alert 16 July: Monsoon is active across the country, due to which it is raining heavily. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in many states including UP for the next seven days. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has said that heavy to very heavy rains are going to occur in eastern and adjacent central India during the next two days and in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu during the next 6-7 days.

For Northwest India, the Meteorological Department has said that heavy rains are likely at isolated places over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh during July 16-22, Punjab, Haryana on July 16, 17, 21 and 22, West Rajasthan on July 16, East Rajasthan on July 16 and 17. Very heavy rains will occur over Jammu and Kashmir, North Punjab on 16, Uttarakhand during July 16, 17 and 20-22, Western Uttar Pradesh on 17, Eastern Uttar Pradesh on July 16 and 17 and Himachal Pradesh on July 21, 22.

Talking about East and Central India, heavy rains are likely to continue over West Madhya Pradesh during July 16-18, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh during July 16-18, July 21 and 22, Bihar on July 16, 17, 20 and 21, Andaman and Nicobar Islands on July 17, Odisha on July 16, 21 and 22, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim during July 16 and 19-22. Very heavy rains are likely over Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand on July 16.

Apart from this, heavy rains are likely to continue at isolated places over western India during July 20-22 over Konkan, Goa, ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra on July 16, Goa on July 16. Heavy rains are likely to continue at isolated places over Northeast India on July 16, Arunachal Pradesh during July 19-22, Assam, Meghalaya during July 19-22 and Mizoram, Tripura on July 19 and 20.
