Noida Man Cuts Neighbour's Nose For Scolding His Dog, 2 Arrested

Two people have been arrested in Uttar Pradesh's Noida district for allegedly assaulting their neighbour and cutting his nose as the latter scolded the pet dog of one of the accused, said the Uttar Pradesh police. A third accused is on the run, and police are on a hunt to nab him. 

The incident took place at Nat Ki Madaiya village in Noida district on July 8, as per the police. The victim, identified as Devendra, who was at his house, scolded his neighbour's pet dog for barking, reported PTI. 

Devendra's father, Sukhbir Singh, lodged a complaint with the police, after which an FIR was registered. In the FIR, Sukhbir mentioned that Devendra scolded the pet dog, after which neighbour Satish, his brother Amit and his son Tushar came out of their house and began beating Devendra and his wife Munni Devi. 

The accused attacked Devendra with a sharp object and cut his nose. After the incident, they fled the spot and read the FIR, registered on Tuesday.

According to police, Devendra received stitches in his nose and is at a hospital in Aligarh. 

Beta 2 Police Station in-charge, Vinod Kumar, said on Thursday that an FIR was registered under sections 333, 115 (2), 352 and 118 (1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Two people have been arrested in connection with the case, while efforts are on to arrest the absconding, Kumar added.
