New Kachiguda–Jodhpur Train To Stop At Khandwa From July 20; Railway Minister To Flag Off On July 19

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Khandwa station has got the facility of a new regular train. This new train running between Kachiguda to Bhagat Ki Kothi (Jodhpur) will have a stoppage in Khandwa.

The route of the train will start from Kachiguda and go to Bhagat Ki Kothi (Jodhpur) via Nanded, Akola, Malkapur, Khandwa, Itarsi, Rani Kamalapati, Ujjain, Ratlam, Ajmer, Beawar and Pali.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will flag off this special train on July 19. From July 20, this train will start service with a regular number.

MP Patil had made the demand

On February 11, Khandwa MP Gyaneshwar Patil had demanded from the Railway Minister to run a new train from Hyderabad to Jodhpur via Khandwa. After this, this issue was also raised in the meeting with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on April 4.

According to information with this daily train, passengers of Khandwa will get direct rail service to Kachiguda, Akola, Ujjain, Ratlam, Bhilwara, Ajmer, Beawar, Pali and Jodhpur.

This will be the time table of the train

Regular operation of the new train service will start from July 20. Train number 17605 will leave Kachiguda at 11:50 pm and reach Khandwa at 6:30 pm the next day. This train will reach Ujjain at 4:00 am via Itarsi, Narmadapuram and Rani Kamalapati. It will reach Bhagat Ki Kothi (Jodhpur) at 8:00 pm via Ajmer route.

On return, train number 17606 will leave Bhagat Ki Kothi at 10:30 pm. It will reach Ujjain at 1:00 pm the next day and Khandwa at 10:40 pm. This train will reach Kachiguda at 3:40 pm the next day.

These will be the stoppages

The new train will have stoppages at Kachiguda, Nizamabad, Hazur Sahib Nanded, Purna, Hingoli, Washim, Akola, Malkapur, Khandwa, Itarsi, Narmadapuram, Rani Kamlapati, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Sehore, Maksi, Ujjain, Ratlam, Javra, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Chittaurgarh, Bhilwara, Bijaynagar, Nasirabad, Ajmer, Beawar, Sojat Road, Marwar Junction, Pali Marwar, Bhagat Ki Kothi (Jodhpur).

There will be a total of 22 coaches

The structure of the new train is such that it will have a total of 22 coaches. Which will include two AC two-tier coaches, 7 AC three-tier coaches, 7 sleeper coaches, four second ordinary coaches and two generator cars.
