KB DAV celebrates Recognition Day

KB DAV, Sector 7, celebrated its Recognition Day (Junior and senior school) to recognise students’ excellence in academics and co-curricular activities. Shipra Bansal, Chairperson, Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights, attended the event and honoured the alumnus. School Principal Pooja Prakash presented the annual report. Shreya Garg, tricity topper in Class 12 examinations, was awarded a cash prize. Students of nursery presented a vibrant song-dance based on friendship, while kindergarten learners presented “Apna Punjab, Rangla Punjab”, astounding everyone with their energy. The “Jungle Book” by Class I and II students was the highlight of the show, wherein young learners presented a play.
