Mumbai Shocker: Mankhurd Man Booked For Unleashing Pet Dog On 12-Year-Old Boy (Video)
Mumbai: In a shocking incident, a 43-year-old man in Mankhurd allegedly unleashed his pet dog on a 12-year-old boy who was playing in an auto-rickshaw. The dog savagely attacked the child, biting him repeatedly and causing serious injuries and mental trauma. The Mankhurd police have registered a case against Mohammed Sohail Hasan Khan. Videos of the horrifying incident have gone viral on social media, sparking outrage.
According to the police, the incident occurred on July 17, around 10 PM in Mankhurd's MHADA Colony. The injured boy, identified as Hamza, is the son of Haleem Jamil Khan, 34, who lives in the area. Hamza was innocently playing in an auto-rickshaw when Khan, who was nearby with his dog, allegedly set the dog on him.
Eyewitnesses reported that Khan intentionally set the dog on the boy. As the boy screamed in fear, Khan was allegedly seen laughing. The dog first bit the boy on his jaw, and continued its assault. When the boy tried to flee, the aggressive dog chased after him.
The child sustained injuries and has been left mentally traumatized by the ordeal. Upon returning home, Hamza recounted the incident to his mother, who then informed her husband. The family was shocked after watching the viral videos of the attack, which also reportedly capture the sound of other people laughing in the background.
Based on the complaint filed by Hamza's father, the police registered a case against Khan and arrested him. He was later released after being served a notice. Khan, an AC repair worker who resides in the same locality and was reportedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
