State BJP Mahila Morcha chief visits Som Parkash’s residence

Punjab BJP Mahila Morcha president Jai Inder Kaur visited the residence of former Union Minister Som Parkash and Anita Som Parkash at Urban Estate, Phagwara, where she was accorded a warm welcome.

Anita extended a heartfelt reception to Jai Inder Kaur upon her arrival. Addressing the assembled workers and office-bearers, Jai Inder Kaur emphasised the vital role of women in Punjab’s political landscape. She urged all members of the Mahila Morcha to actively propagate the Modi government’s welfare policies across every household in the state.

“The contribution of women in politics is invaluable. It is our responsibility to ensure that the pro-people policies of the Centre reach the grassroots level in Punjab,” she said. She also expressed confidence that with strong grassroots engagement, the BJP could form the next government in Punjab in the 2027, enabling the state to benefit from governance aligned with the Centre.

The event witnessed the presence of several senior functionaries of the Mahila Morcha, including BJP Punjab Mahila Morcha spokesperson Chandar Rekha Nikki, executive member Jaswinder Kaur, Hoshiarpur district president Pallavi Sharma, Anju Khurana, Sarpanch Manjeet Kaur, Dabri mandal president Rajinder Kaur, Shivpuri mandal president Maninder Kaur, along with Sangeeta, Biba, Reena Khosla, Sonia Walia, Dr Shelly Chhabra, Kiran, Paramjit (Friends Colony), and Sonia (Santokhpura), among others.

The event served as a rallying call for women leaders and workers to gear up for the 2027 elections and reinforce the BJP’s presence across Punjab through consistent outreach and public engagement.
