Neither money nor fame… Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani’s daughter-in-law wants to leave this special thing for her children
Shloka Mehta, who usually stays away from the limelight, recently opened up in a conversation about her NGO ‘ConnectFor’ and the thought behind it. Shloka Mehta (Ambani) is the daughter-in-law of the Ambani family and wife of Akash Ambani. She shared her personal views and delivered a strong message for society and future generations.
Shloka appeared in an interview on fashion influencer Masoom Minawala’s YouTube show, where she discussed her NGO ‘ConnectFor’. She openly spoke about topics like leaving a legacy for her children, balancing work and parenting, and the support she receives from her husband Akash Ambani.
What Is ConnectFor?
ConnectFor is a non-profit organization that Shloka co-founded in 2015 with Maaniti Shah. The aim was to bridge the gap between under-resourced NGOs and the volunteers and resources they need. In a way, it acts as a bridge between service and technology.
What is the inspiration behind this initiative and what do her family members think about it? Here’s the full story.
In the interview, Shloka shared that ConnectFor is not just work for her, but something she sees as a legacy to pass on to her children. Shloka and Akash Ambani have two children Prithvi Akash Ambani and Veda Ambani.
What Legacy Shloka Mehta Wants To Leave For Kids?
“I take a lot of pride in telling my kids that like mama has to go to office, you go to school, we’re all doing things to make ourselves better,” Shloka said and added “You’re creating something that someone who you’re fully invested in is going to be influenced by. I think that’s the best legacy that you can leave behind for your kids.”
Shloka Mehta also spoke about her dream for her children, and said, “They need to know that all careers are okay… It’s okay to do something that may take a while, may seem like a slow start, but you just have to go every day and believe that you’re building something of value.”
