Nature’s Fury Unleashed: Landslides Strike Himachal and Jammu’s Sacred Routes | ABP NEWS

A terrifying landslide struck Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district once again, with massive boulders tumbling down near the Chhinra bridge in the Karsog area. The incident was captured on video, showing heavy rocks crashing down the hillside at a dangerous speed. Fortunately, no one was present at the site during the slide, preventing any casualties. In a related incident, another landslide hit the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage route early in the morning near Ban Ganga, close to the famous Gulshan Kumar Langar site. The landslide occurred around 8 AM, when sudden rock and mud flow disrupted the pilgrimage path. Part of a covered shed along the track was also destroyed. Pilgrims using the track from Katra to Vaishno Devi had a narrow escape as debris scattered across the area. The landslides, triggered by continuous rainfall, have raised alarm for authorities and travelers. Pilgrims and tourists are being advised to take extreme caution as unpredictable weather continues to affect the hilly regions of Himachal and Jammu. No injuries have been reported, but local administrations are on alert, with cleanup and safety checks underway.
