New Fastag Toll Pass: Now less than a month is left. The annual Fastag toll pass of Rs 3000 is going to be implemented in the country from August 15. Now new information has been received that under the new toll policy, it will be necessary to do e-KYC to get this annual pass.
Without e-KYC, first of all the recharge will not happen and even if it happens, it will not work. Therefore, before August 15, you will have to update the eKYC of your FASTag. In case of not doing this, the Fastag will not work. Not only this, if the balance of your Fastag is in minus, then recharge it too. Do not think that the new toll pass is different, why recharge the Fastag. If the balance is in minus, then the recharge of Rs 3000 will not happen.
Fastags will be blacklisted
It has become clear that Fastag will not work without eKYC update. Even if you set out on a journey, it will start showing blacklist at the toll plaza. There are a large number of such Fastags whose balance is in minus. If they do not pay all the dues on time, then they are sure to be blacklisted.
Know the complete process of e-KYC
The process of doing e-KYC is very easy and can be done online. To do eKYC of FASTag, you have to go to the website of the bank or company from where the FASTag has been issued. Then you have to go to its KYC section. Here you have to upload your vehicle’s RC, Aadhaar card and other identity cards. After submitting the document, verification will be done through mobile OTP or mobile camera. That’s it, eKYC is done. If you want, you can also complete this work by going to the bank.

- Here go to Services and choose the option of FASTag
- Now click on the option of KYC Update
- Upload the required documents
- Submit the form and verify with OTP

Now a new page will open
Enter your vehicle number or FASTag number
Enter the captcha code and click on Check Status
Your FASTag information will open
The Rs 3000 pass will be valid only here
The benefit of this scheme of the Union Ministry of Road Transport and National Highways will be valid only at the toll plazas of NHAI and National Express. At the toll booths under the states, you will have to pay money from your Fastag as before.
