'Saiyaara Se Aashiqui Ho Gayi': Shraddha Kapoor Praises Aneet Padda, Ahaan Panday's Performance, Says '5 Baar Dekhungi'

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor praised Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's Saiyaara and called it 'pure cinema'. Her review comes amid fans comparing the success of Saiyaara to her 2013 film Aashiqui 2.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Tuesday (July 22), Shraddha shared a short video of the theatre screen playing Saiyaara and wrote, "Saiyaara se Aashiqui ho gayi hai mujhe."

In a follow up story, she shared a picture of a scene featuring Aneet and wrote, "Iss moment ke liye 5 baar dekoongi."

Sharing her review of the film, she further mentioned, "Pure cinema, pure drama, pure magic. Uff bahot time baad itna emotion feel kiya hai."

The Mohit Suri directorial has been receiving rave reviews from film critics, celebrities as well as the audience. Several B-Town celebs like Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ameesha Patel, Neha Dhupia, Manushi Chhillar and others have praised the film and congratulated the cast and makers for its success.

Saiyaara's box office report

Saiyaara has shattered expectations at the box office, crossing the Rs 100 crore mark within just four days of its release. It raked in a total of Rs 105.75 crore in India, making it one of the fastest films of 2025 to achieve this milestone.

With this feat, Saiyaara has climbed to the seventh position among the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2025.

Saiyaara opened strong on Friday with Rs 21 crore, saw further growth on Saturday with Rs 26 crore, and reached its highest single-day total on Sunday with Rs 35.75 crore.

About the film

Saiyaara follows Krish Kapoor (Ahaan), an aspiring singer, and Vaani Batra (Aneet), a once-famous vocalist turned lyricist. As they collaborate on a song, their professional journey turns into an emotional one, leading to a love story that has clearly struck a chord with audiences nationwide.

It also stars Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola, Shaad Randhawa, and others in pivotal roles.
