NTA UGC NET 2025 Results Cut Off on ugcnet.nta.ac.in., Steps to download and other details here
NTA UGC NET 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially published the NTA UGC NET Result 2025 cut off. All the candidates who appeared for University Grants Commission-NET examination can now check the subject wise & category wise cut off on the official website of UGC NET – ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The results for UGC NET were announced by NTA on July 21, 2025 while the provisional answer key was released on July 5. The agency opened the objection window from July 6 to July 8, 2025.
The cut offs and final answer key were also released along with the results. The cutoff is issued category-wise and subject-wise for both Assistant Professor only and JRF + Assistant Professor.
NTA UGC NET 2025: Key Details
- In total, 7,52,007 candidates appeared for the exam out of 10,19,751 candidates who registered.
- This year, 4,46,849 female candidates, 3,05,122 male candidates and 36 third-gender candidates appeared for the UGC NET Exam.
- Of the total number of candidates who appeared, 1,88,333 have qualified the exam in which 52,69 candidates qualified for JRF and Assistant Professor, 54,885 candidates qualified for Assistant Professor and Admission to Ph.D and 1,28,179 candidates have qualified for Ph.D only.

Step 2. On the homepage, click on the ‘NTA UGC NET Result 2025 Cut Off’ link.
Step 3. You will be redirected to a new page where you can check the subject wise/category wise cut offs.
Step 4. Download and take a print of the page for future reference.
The UGC NET cut-off has been released as subject and category-wise cut-off marks. Candidates can access both the PDFs on the official website under the Public Notices section on the official website. UGC NET exam is conducted with the aim to determine the eligibility of the candidates to become Assistant Professors and get the Fellowship award to complete a Ph.D. at the expense of the Indian government.
