Want to Work or Live in the UK? Final Ballot for UK’s India Young Professionals Visa Now Open!

This is a great chance for young Indians! The UK government has started its last ballot for the 2025 India Young Professionals Scheme visa. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to live, work, or study in the UK for up to two years.
There are just 3,000 slots available each year for this visa, which is part of a special deal between India and the UK. Most of the seats were filled in February, and the rest are currently up for random selection through a free ballot.
Who Can Apply?
To get in, you need to:
- Be an Indian citizen between the ages of 18 and 30
- Have a bachelor’s degree or higher
- Have at least £2,530 in savings (around ₹2.75 lakh)
- Don’t have any kids that depend on you
- Not have had a UK Youth Mobility or Young Professionals visa before
How the Vote Works
You don’t have to pay anything to vote. You have to send in:
- Name, date of birth, and information about your passport
- A copy of your passport that has been scanned
- Your email address and phone number
There can only be one entry per individual. The winners are picked at random, and the results will be delivered to you within two weeks of the ballot ending.
If you are chosen, you will have 90 days to apply for the visa, pay the £319 visa cost, the immigration health premium, and send in your biometric data.
Don’t go in unless you plan to apply and meet all the prerequisites.
Did you miss out? Next Year, Try Again
If you don’t get picked, you can’t appeal, but you can apply again in future ballots as long as you’re still eligible.
