ICAI hosts seminar on “Professional opportunities in UAE, IPO Pathway in India”

JAMMU, July 22: A seminar on “Professional opportunities in UAE and IPO Pathway in India” hosted by the J&K Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), under the aegis of the Committee for Members in Industry and Business (CMI&B), was held here today.
The seminar focused on equipping members with insights into emerging international career prospects and the evolving fundraising and IPO ecosystem in India. It drew a large number of members keen to explore cross-border professional avenues and capital market expertise.
Speaking on the occasion, Sourav Pargal, Chairman of the J&K Branch, emphasized the ICAI’s continued efforts in enhancing international career avenues for members.
He underlined the growing relevance of Indian Chartered Accountants in global financial hubs and capital markets.
Kapil Talreja spoke on practice opportunities and professional scope for Indian CAs in Dubai/UAE, including current business dynamics and compliance requirements. Pitam Goel in his address delivered insights on IPO advisory and fundraising opportunities for Chartered Accountants during SME and Mainboard listings.
The sessions were coordinated and conducted by Jatin Malhotra, secretary of the Branch, who ensured effective member engagement throughout the day.
Amit Gupta, vice chairman, extended a formal vote of thanks, appreciating the speakers, members and the organizing team for making the seminar a rich learning experience.
