Boney Kapoor grabs eyeballs after losing 26 kgs: The secret to his 'no gym' weight transformation

Filmmaker and actor Boney Kapoor is the latest talk of the town, and it is not about his movies. This time, he has stunned many with his drastic weight loss transformation.
At a time when a majority of the population is unable to lead a healthy lifestyle and doctors are worried about the obesity rates, such transformational pictures have piqued the interest of many.
Most of the time, people complain about the inability to hit the gym or work out regularly due to their work schedules or other commitments.

Neither has Boney Kapoor worked out extensively. According to reports, the secret behind his weight loss journey lies in his strict and disciplined lifestyle. It has been learnt that he skips dinner and has only soup. Unlike the usual breakfast dishes, he has only fruit, juice, and jawar roti in the morning.
This strict routine, coupled with the dedication, has surely paid off for Boney Kapoor, who is slaying in his new look.
“I remembered my wife’s advice who wanted me to lose weight before the hair transplant, so I went on a diet and lost about 14 kgs. It’s hard for me to exercise, but I still managed to shed weight," said Boney Kapoor to TOI, on his motivation towards the lifestyle shift.
According to data from the National Family Health Survey, almost a fourth of men and women in India were either overweight or obese in 2019-21, an increase of 4 percentage points from 2015-16. The report also mentioned that the issue is prominent among women in most South Indian States, as well as in Delhi and Punjab, and the rate of increase in obesity among men was faster. The data underscores the risk posed by obesity in the country.
