India reopens doors: Tourist Visas for Chinese travellers resumes today after a gap of 5 years

India has resumed issuing tourist visas to Chinese nationals starting July 24, 2025, ending a five-year suspension due to diplomatic tensions. Applications can be submitted online and processed through the Indian Embassy in Beijing and consulates in Shanghai and Guangzhou. This positive step, acknowledged by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aims to facilitate travel between the two nations.
