Met dept puts Vidarbha on red alert, orange for Nagpur; schools shut, 60 rescued from flood-hit Chandrapur

Chandrapur and Bhandara districts announced closure of schools on July 25. This was due to a heavy rainfall forecast in Vidarbha. The Regional Meteorological Centre issued a red alert for Gondia, Gadchiroli, Chandrapur, and Bhandara. Nagpur and Wardha were under an orange alert. East Vidarbha districts experienced rain in the last 24 hours.
