NASA scientists are closely monitoring an airplane-sized asteroid which at the speed of 66,243 km will fly by Earth today!

Asteroid 2025 OU1, about 140 feet in diameter, will safely pass Earth in 2025. While it poses no immediate threat, scientists are closely monitoring its trajectory. India's ISRO is also vigilant, particularly regarding the larger asteroid Apophis, which will make a close approach in 2029. India aims to participate in international planetary defense missions.
