Agriculture Minister hears public grievances at Radaur Jan Sunwai
Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Minister Shyam Singh Rana on Thursday addressed public grievances during a Jan Sunwai (public hearing) held at his Radaur office.
The minister listened attentively to complaints raised by citizens and issued prompt directions to officials to ensure swift redressal.
Speaking on the occasion, Rana reiterated the Nayab Singh Saini-led government’s commitment to delivering transparent and efficient governance rooted in the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.”
He stated that public welfare remains at the heart of the government’s mission, with particular emphasis on improving education, healthcare, public safety, self-reliance and dignity.
“Whoever walks into my office with a genuine grievance is heard with patience and immediate efforts are made to solve their problems,” said the minister, reaffirming his open-door policy.
He added that administrative matters were being handled with urgency and clarity, with no room for negligence. Rana also stressed that public participation is crucial for the success of any government scheme.
“No policy can succeed without grassroots engagement. The public must be active partners in governance,” he said, urging citizens to take full advantage of various welfare initiatives launched by the state and central governments.
In response to media queries, the minister praised former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s tenure, stating that many welfare schemes conceptualised during his time had become models for other states.
On the issue of corruption, Rana stated: “We have ended the menace of corruption in job recruitments. Today, talented youth from even the most underprivileged backgrounds are securing employment purely on merit — without needing recommendations or bribes.”
The Jan Sunwai event was attended by several senior BJP leaders including Gopal Krishan, Vipin Dhanupura, Sunil Chamrodi, Rajpal Alahar, Pankaj Kamboj and Jasmer Singh, along with a large number of villagers from across the constituency.
Minister Rana concluded by reaffirming his accessibility to the public and reiterated that “development with integrity” remains the BJP government’s top priority.
