SBI PO Admit Card 2025 released at sbi.co.in; Check direct link, exam pattern, selection process here
The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially released the call letters for the Probationary Officer (PO) preliminary examination on July 25, 2025. The candidates who have registered can now download their admit cards from the official website, sbi.co.in. Along with the admit cards, the exam dates have also been released. The prelims exam is scheduled to occur on August 2, 4, and 5. The last date to download the hall ticket is on August 5.
SBI PO exam consists of three phases- Prelims, Mains, and GD/Interview round. Candidates must pass each exam in order to get shortlisted and to progress to the next stage, and the final selection will be based on merit. The exam is for 541 Probationary Officer vacancies, of which 500 are regular and 41 are backlog vacancies.
WHAT IS THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA?
The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Central government. Those who are in the final year/semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally, subject to the condition that, is called for an interview they must produce proof of having passed the graduation examination. Candidates with a chartered accountant. Certification may also apply.
WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT FOR SBI PO 2025?
The candidates must be between 21 to 30 years of age that is candidates must have been born, not later than 01.04.2004.
What to keep in mind?
The candidates must keep in mind the following points-
- The bank may digitally capture the thumb impression of the candidate i.e. do a biometric verification to verify the genuineness.
- A candidate can only appear for the means exam, a total of four times, and with relaxations for other categories.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD SBI PO Call letter?
Candidates must follow the following steps to download the SBI PO call letter-
- Visit the official SBI website at sbi.co.in.
- Click on the SBI PO 2025, admit card download link.
- Enter your login credentials.
- Submit them and download the SBI PO admit card.
- Get it printed for future references.
The call letters for the preliminary exam will not be collected at the examination venue, though it will be checked, authenticated and stamped by the exam Centre staff. The candidate is required to retain the call letter along with the authenticated and stamped copy of ID proof very safely.
EXAM PATTERN AND IMPORTANT DATES
There will be three sections in the exam: English language, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning ability result will be declared in August – September.
There will be no sectional cut-off in the preliminary exam examination. Candidates numbering approximately 10 times of the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for the main exam examination.
The means for the exam will be conducted in September and the phase 3 exams will be conducted in October – November, the final result is said to be declared in November/December, 2025.
Once the candidates are selected after appointment, they will be on probation as per the existing bank’s recruitment policy in force.
