Indian Army's weapons display, computer-based wargames and more...:India, Singapore begin flexing military muscles

Exercise Bold Kurukshetra 2025, the 14th edition of the India–Singapore Joint Military Exercise, which seeks to enhance interoperability and joint training capabilities of both armies under the United Nations mandate, began in Jodhpur on Sunday.
The drills, which will be conducted as a tabletop exercise and computer-based wargame aimed at validating operational procedures for mechanised warfare, will continue till August 4.
An equipment display by the Indian Army is also part of the joint exercise.
While Singapore is being represented by the 42 Singapore Armoured Regiment of the 4 Singapore Armoured Brigade, the Indian Army’s Mechanised Infantry Regiment is joining the wargame.

The joint military drills are expected to strengthen bilateral defence cooperation between the two countries. "Exercise Bold Kurukshetra 2025 will further consolidate the strong defence ties between India and Singapore and foster greater mutual understanding and collaboration at both tactical and strategic levels," the defence ministry stated in a release.
Colonel Arjun Ganapathi, Commanding Officer of The Mechanised Infantry Regiment, led the Indian contingent, while Lieutenant Colonel Khiew Zhi Yoong, Battalion Commander of the 42 Singapore Armoured Regiment, headed the Singaporean side in the opening ceremony.
Brigadier Pritam, Commander of 340 (I) Mechanised Brigade, and Colonel Wong Zeng Yu, Commander of the 4 Singapore Armoured Brigade, were the chief guests.
