The most special thing about this new plan is that it is only Rs 1 more expensive than the old Rs 398 recharge but in return users are getting a full 14GB of additional data. This new Rs 399 plan is available in all circles across the country and through this Airtel is giving a direct challenge to other telecom companies.

Benefits of the plan

The validity of this plan is 28 days and it offers unlimited voice calling, high-speed data and free national roaming (except Jammu and Kashmir). Users get 2.5GB data and 100 SMS free every day. Also, this plan also includes free subscription of JioHotstar for 28 days, which will also benefit OTT content lovers.

What were the benefits in the old plan

If we talk about the old Rs 398 plan, it was providing 2GB data every day and almost all other facilities. But now by spending just Rs 1 more, 512MB more data is available daily in the new plan. This makes a total of 14GB extra data in a month, which is a big deal and that too for just Rs 1.

According to the latest report of TRAI, Airtel is continuously expanding its network and adding a large number of new users. The subscriber base of the company has now increased to more than 36 crores. On the other hand, Vodafone Idea (Vi) and BSNL have suffered losses in this race. In the month of May, both the companies together lost more than two lakh customers, in which about 1.35 lakh users were lost from BSNL and 2.74 lakh users were lost from Vi.

Jio’s 28-day plan

In this Rs 223 plan of Jio, users get unlimited calling facility for 28 days, 100 SMS per day, and 56GB internet data. Accordingly, through this plan, users get the benefit of 2GB data per day.

Not only this, Jio company also gives many other benefits to the users with this plan. With this plan, users also get free access to Jio Cinema, free subscription to Jio TV and Jio Cloud.

However, let us tell you that this prepaid plan of Jio is available only for limited users. If you use Jio phone then you can take advantage of this plan. If you use Jio SIM in smartphone then you will not get the benefit of this plan.
