Jewar Airport: Now construction can be done within 10 km radius of Jewar International Airport

Jewar Airport: Permitted construction is now allowed within a radius of 10 km around Jewar International Airport. This will provide relief to real estate and common people.

Jewar Airport: There is good news about construction within a radius of 10 km around the Jewar International Airport being built in Greater Noida. Earlier, there was a ban on construction without permission in this area, but now there is relief news for real estate and common people.

Under the new rules, permitted buildings and development projects can be built in the Yamuna Authority area. This will greatly benefit builders and property owners.

It is necessary to take NOC

According to a Navbharat Times report, with the construction of Jewar International Airport, there is a lot of activity in the areas around it. Kiran Jain, Chief Operating Officer of Noida International Airport, had earlier said that before starting any construction within 10 km radius of the airport, it would be necessary to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Airports Authority of India (AAI).

This rule was applicable not only on buildings but also on works like planting trees. The local administration also had to be informed about every development work. This news had increased concern in the real estate sector, but experts say that this rule is only to prevent construction without permission.

Construction without permission was banned within a radius of 10 km

The Airport Authority of India (AAI), Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) and the district administration had banned construction without permission within a radius of 10 km of Jewar. Areas like Jewar, Rabupura, Falaida Bangar, Sarol, Mirzapur, Dankaur and Jahangirpur come in this area. Experts say that this ban will not affect development. This is just a security step, under which it is necessary to take NOC keeping in mind the height and safety rules around the airport. Officials of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) said that buildings built without approval in non-notified villages are not only illegal but can also pose a threat to the security of the airport.

Land prices increased

The department came to know that illegal construction was happening rapidly around the airport. After this, in the meeting of the Airport Environment Management Committee on July 9, the district administration, YIDA and NIAL together decided that NOC would be mandatory for construction. This decision will stop illegal construction and ensure security.

Since the announcement of Jewar Airport, land prices in this area have increased a lot. Big projects of Yamuna Authority, such as Multi-Modal Logistics Hub, Film City and investment by foreign companies have made this area more attractive. Colliers India expert Swapnil Anil says that by 2030, land prices in Yamuna City can increase by one and a half times. Due to this, construction activities have also increased. But now it is necessary for all builders, developers and property owners to get NOC from Yamuna International Airport Private Limited and the concerned authorities before starting construction. This will not only follow the rules, but the security of the airport will also be maintained.
