Viral video: Biker’s move to avoid fine turns deadly for constable
A shocking video of a horrific accident has surfaced from Telangana’s Pantangi toll gate, showing a scooter rider crashing into a traffic constable. The incident was captured on CCTV, which shows the scooter approaching at high speed before colliding with the constable.
The constable, identified as Asif, sustained serious injuries and was immediately rushed to Yashoda Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
The scooter rider has been identified as Vishal, and police have launched an investigation. According to the footage, Constable Asif was on duty managing traffic at the Pantangi toll gate during the morning hours when the accident occurred.
The video shows the scooter suddenly speeding toward the toll plaza. After losing control, the rider crashed directly into the constable. Moments later, nearby individuals and other police officers rushed to the scene to assist the injured constable.
Vishal also suffered injuries, but his condition is reported to be less serious than Asif’s. Following the crash, panic and chaos erupted at the toll gate. Police acted swiftly, providing emergency aid and ensuring both men were taken to the hospital without delay.
Hospital officials said Constable Asif’s condition remains critical and that he is receiving the best possible medical care.
Meanwhile, Vishal has been taken into police custody for questioning after receiving treatment. The CCTV footage has gone viral on social media, sparking outrage over reckless driving and the dangers it poses to public safety.
